This 4-month virtual program is designed for gender-diverse youth aged 12-17 and their caregivers. Together, we’ll create a space that’s affirming, supportive, and empowering—a place where you can learn, grow, and connect with others who truly understand.

Program Details
- Who: Gender-diverse youth aged 12-17 and their caregivers.
- When: February 2025-May 2025
- Where: Fully online, accessible from wherever you are.
What’s Involved?
- 6 Interactive Workshops: Engaging sessions designed to explore and navigate gender and its impact on individuals, families, and communities.
- 3 Individual Counselling Sessions: Personalized support for each participant to address specific needs and goals.
- Youth Honorarium: $30 per workshop as appreciation for participation.
- Caregiver Honorarium: $25 per workshop as a thank-you for their involvement.
Program Goals
- Expand Knowledge and Awareness:
- Understand how gender functions for everyone.
- Provide youth, families, and communities with tools to navigate gender and gendered experiences.
- Develop Skills:
- Build self and community advocacy, connection, mindfulness, and self-awareness.
- Create Connections:
- Foster connections between gender non-conforming youth, families with shared experiences, and community/professional supports across the province.
- Empowerment for Safe and Authentic Living:
- Cultivate gender-friendly perspectives and skills that empower youth, families, and communities to live safely and authentically.
